Our Classrooms

Kurious Kids Learning Center is located on New York Street in Whitehall, PA. This center is an Early Childcare Center that can accommodate children from 6 weeks old to Pre-kindergarten.index

This location is a STAR 3 center.  Please see www.pakeys.org for more information on the Keystone Stars program.

Atmosphere

We provide a relaxed atmosphere where our main focus is the well-being of the children we care for. Our focus is on providing a quality childcare facility where the parents can bring their children to and leave with peace of mind.

Flexibility

We offer full-time and part-time care. Availability may vary from location to location. Please check with each individual location for openings.

 

 

Learning Rooms

bumblebeeGoals for the Bumble Bee Room

  • Hold bottle on own
  • Sit up on own
  • Transfer toy from hand to another
  • Feed self (example: puffs, Cheerios Etc.)
  • Begin crawling/cruising
  • Begin making sounds (Ma-ma, Da-da, Ba-ba)
  • Look at person who says name
  • Pick self up to standing
  • Roll over

 

Goals for the Lady Bug Room

  • Walking independently
  • Transition from bottle to sippy cup
  • Begin using sign language
  • Begin using spoon to feed self
  • Repeats words when prompted

 

 

Goals for the Butterfly Roombutterfly

  • Sitting for circle time
  • Singing along to songs and finger plays
  • Begin sitting at table for all meals and art projects
  • Using different forms of art materials
  • Begin to use words to express one’s emotions and feelings
  • Able to hold book correctly and turn pages
  • Begin to recognize colors, shapes, letters, numbers
  • Begin to potty train

 

Goals for the Dragonfly Room

  • Potty train
  • Recognize all colors, shapes, letters, numbers
  • Begin recognize/trace letters in name
  • Using full sentences to express self
  • Sharing/cooperating with peers
  • Manners
  • Self Help Skills (Putting on jacket, putting on shoes, zipping jackets)
